Scouting the AAC - UConn

UConn is a program in transition. The team had one player selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Unless one of the team’s underclassmen turns in a big campaign and leaves for the NFL, they are unlikely to have a player selected next April.

Marshe’ Terry could be the next big prospect that comes from the UConn secondary. He has all the ingredients to succeed but must consistently play at a high level. Terry has excellent size, plays aggressive football and is constantly around the ball. He also comes with solid ball skills, although I question his deep speed. He displayed a good deal of progress as the 2018 season moved along and hopefully keeps heading in the same direction.

Matt Peart has shown more flashes than consistency but has upside. He’s a nice-sized tackle who moves relatively well in a small area.
